Stanley's Mini-Series Debut!
Series Premier Wednesday February 9th
Check for Stanley's Role in Part IV on the 16th
"Slavery and the Making of America"
SLAVERY AND THE MAKING OF AMERICA is a four-part series documenting the history of American slavery from its beginnings in the British colonies to its end in the Southern states and the years of post-Civil War Reconstruction. Drawing on a wealth of recent scholarship, it looks at slavery as an integral part of a developing nation, challenging the long held notion that slavery was exclusively a Southern enterprise. At the same time, by focusing on the remarkable stories of individual slaves, it offers new perspectives on the slave experience and testifies to the active role that Africans and African Americans took in surviving their bondage and shaping their own lives.
As Stanley pursues his historic interests and research, his portfolio is expanding to include a vast variety of historic characters.
One-hour sessions are available in Central New Jersey and Eastern, PA for $100; other locations are available including expense reimbursement.
Impressions - Engage a character from history! Great for schools and historic groups from experts to elementary school students. Please note that written permission will be required from school administrations to allow historic firearms into the facilities. Each impression is a one act one man play.

Artillery Artificer
|
Supporting artillery is a major function of any army, both historic and modern. Entire teams of carpenters, blacksmiths, and wheelwrights follow the troops maintaining the various implements of war all in constant need of repair from facing the abuses of transportation and battle.
Stanley's woodworking background sets the perfect stage to provide demonstrations of artillery construction, maintenance, and design. Artillery artificers followed behind every army, fully equipped to provide supporting services.
Shown below are a few of the guns built or restored by Stanley and his son Eric. Blank firing demonstrations are available with event permits as required by state and local laws. On some rare occasions, the guns are live fired in competition or for show.
