"The figure stands expressionless, impassive, and alone." well ... not really these characters each have a unique poise, expression, demeanor, even a personality. A lifelike addition to any landscape, a freestanding sculpture as unique as the imagination can fathom. (Oh and yes ... for those pondering we did just quote Judas Priest.)
Based upon the 1903 Victor Herbert operetta, "Babes in Toyland" is clearly one of Laurel and Hardy's most popular films. This commission is a life size rendition of the toy soldiers portrayed in this classic film.
This commission required the combined efforts of Bob Eigenrauch and Stan Saperstein to create a figure from kiln dried poplar for indoor display.
The ruff work was completed by Bob, creating a full size blank. Stan picked up the process to carve in the detail using both power carvings and hand carving techniques.

Marine themes are common and practical for display at any shore house, lake, or river home. Perfect for a seafood restaurant, or any back yard where a clam bake is a regular event. A mariner, anchor, and a flagpole are equally at home in front of your house or to mark the entrance to a yacht club.
This humble boy sitting on a stump can likewise be positioned leisurely holding a fishing pole while dangling his bare feet over the water of your back yard pond.
Figures like these carry on a theme, and provide the completion of ambiance set by plants, water, and hardscape. Note the crane positioned in the background of the pond scene below as well.
No nautical portfolio is complete without a mermaid. Affixed to the front of a ship, a siren at sea, or a fantasy Disney character (Well, perhaps these aren't Disney as Bob seems to have forgotten the coconuts.)
Sports fans are not left out in opportunity, this baseball player will be the center of attention in any game room or sports bar.
Need a monument? Consider a solider statue to guard your post. Native American figures include chiefs, warriors, and young women holding their young child.
Fantasy figures are likewise open to the imagination. Dragons, ferries, ogres, busts, and facial grimaces are bound to take away more than a quick glance.
